The Big Data Test Infrastructure has launched the following course: "Enabling a Data-informed Public Sector: An Introductory Course to BDTI Essentials." The course is primarily designed for professionals and students in the public sector, academics, and citizens, though its insights into data analytics and utilisation of open-source tools are valuable for a wide range of audiences.

Administrative Modernisation Agency (AMA)

AMA is implementing the National Strategy for Smart Territories, in which is being created a local and regional community that will leverage the concept of smart cities to all national territory in a series of initiatives to support digital transition of Portuguese cities and communities.

Agence du Numérique (ADN)

The Agence du Numérique (AdN) plays a crucial role in advancing digitalization for Walloon cities and municipalities. It collaborates closely with the Walloon Government, public services and various stakeholders within the digital ecosystem to define, coordinate, and monitor the regional digital strategy, Digital Wallonia. It actively contributes to the implementation and coordination of programs and projects aimed at digital transformation across the region.

AnciLab

AnciLab has substantial experience in driving digital transformation and fostering smart communities. The efforts focus on supporting local authorities and public administration in adopting digital technologies addressing the digital transition. Through its Research and Development labs, AnciLab explores artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable city planning to support local administrations in addressing digital and sustainability challenges.

DS4SSCC-DEP Stakeholder Forum

Join us online to learn about the open call for becoming a site of data space deployment this Wednesday (24th January) 10am -12pm (CEST). This will also be an opportunity to ask relevant questions and meet other interested stakeholders. 

Association of Cities in the Republic of Croatia (AOC)

To support cities in their digital transformation journey the Association of Cities organizes training and workshops, providing educational opportunities for city officials to stay updated on the latest trends in smart city technologies and digitalization strategies; facilitates knowledge and experience exchange by creating platforms for cities to share their experiences, successes, and challenges in implementing smart city solutions (hosting an ICT Committee dedicated to digital transformation and smart cities, consisting of representatives from around 50 cities); advocates for policy chan

Association of Dutch Municipalities (Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten - VNG)

The VNG supports municipalities and cities in the Netherlands in their digitalisation and smart city initiatives. It facilitates knowledge exchange, advocates for municipal interests at national and EU levels and provides practical tools and guidelines for digital transformation. VNG also organises events and platforms for dialogue to assist local governments in adopting new technologies for sustainable urban development.

Association of Urban Municipalities of Slovenia – AUMS (Združenje mestnih občin Slovenije - ZMOS)

ZMOS has established an Expert Committee for Digitalisation and Smart Cities, which unites the main staff of 12 urban municipalities from this field. ZMOS is an intermediate body for the ITI mechanism for urban development, which includes funds for smart mobility solutions. ZMOS put forward the initiative to establish common digital infrastructure for Slovenian municipalities (cloud solutions, unifying the use of standards, solutions etc.)
