Increasing digitalisation awareness and readiness of Latvian communities

The European Commission has launched a new initiative to “Increase Digitalisation Awareness and Readiness of EU Communities”. The aim of this initiative is to support EU communities at the early stages or that have not yet begun their digital transformation journey by providing resources, best practices, and training to develop digital strategies.

Innovation Movement VEFRESH

Since its inception in 2019, VEFRESH has closely worked with the leading Latvian cities Riga, Liepaja, public sector institutions -Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, Ministry of Transport. In line with its founding members, VEFRESH has broad access to private businesses operating in the mobility and digitalisation sector.
